Vegetable-tanned leather all the way through, with a belted brass closure and a detachable shoulder strap. A large top handle bag that carries a real day.

One hide, one finish, on every panel. The corner caps, the gussets and the piping are the same leather as the body, and it darkens and softens the longer you carry it.

One size. Approx. 38 cm (15 in) across.

Construction: vegetable-tanned leather on every panel, body, flap, handles, straps, corner caps and gussets. A single one-piece flap folds over the top and closes under two belted straps. At the centre a brass oval plate drops over a knurled brass post and twists shut. To each side a flat brass staple stands on the band, and each strap tip carries a slotted brass plate that hooks over it.

Carry: two short rolled top handles for the hand or the crook of the elbow, plus one detachable leather shoulder strap.

Base: reinforced curved leather corners saddle-stitched at all four bottom corners, rolled piping around the seam, and brass feet.

No logo anywhere on the bag.

Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep it out of standing water and direct sun. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens with handling, and the creases that come with use are the material doing what it is supposed to do.
